Has previously served as Deputy Managing Director, Company Secretary, Manager Finance & Administration, Credit Analyst at FINCORP, and was the first General Manager at First Finance, a subsidiary wholly owned by FINCORP.  He is currently a Member of the Governing Council of World Association of Small and Medium enterprises (WASME).

General Manager also Secretary of the Board joined the organization in 2000. He held several positions in the finance and credit department before he was oppointed General Manager in 2011.

Dr. Thulani C. Dlamini

DBA, MBA, Diploma in Accounting & Licentiate Diploma in Business Banking

Dr. Thulani Dlamini holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Namibia (UNAM). He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) and is a graduate of the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), where he studied Accounting and Business Studies. He further holds a Licentiate Diploma in Business Banking from the Institute of Bankers South Africa (IOBSA). Dr. Dlamini joined First Finance in July 2013. He has 34 years of extensive experience in banking, financial services, insurance, operations, technology and business leadership.

Before joining First Finance, he served in senior leadership roles, including Chief Operations Officer at Old Mutual Eswatini and Head of Information Technology and Projects Manager at Nedbank Eswatini. His professional competencies span operations management, human resource management, project management, information technology management, compliance management, sales and marketing, and data processing.

Mr. Justice Bongani Simelane

Mr. Justice Bongani Simelane is a finance executive with over two decades of experience in accounting, finance, insurance and audit. He holds a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Eswatini, admitted by the Swaziland Institute of Accountants (SIA).  

He joined FINCORP in 2004 as an Accountant and quickly advanced to Manager Finance & Administration by 2006 and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in 2017. His leadership has been instrumental in driving FINCORP’s financial strategy and compliance with international standards.   

Mr. Simelane also served as Chief Insurance Officer (CIO) for an assurance subsidiary of FINCORP, FINSURE ASSURANCE LIMITED. He successfully managed the company’s transition from a brokerage business to an assurance business from 2021 to 2023, overseeing the company’s first year of operations as an insurance company.

Mr. Simelane’s expertise extends to risk management, asset liability management, management of banks and financial institutes, and financial development and inclusion, bolstered by certifications from top institutions including the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and European Investment Bank (EIB) Academy, Galilee College – Israel, and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
